This Livonia, NY project brought together all the additional elements a couple wanted to have in their house but didn't.

One structural column was necessary to support the weight of the second story. One structural column was necessary to support the weight of the second story. To make a more aesthetically pleasing look, two columns were used, with glass shelves to create an interesting feature.

This project involved creating a large new family room, converting an existing living room, and adding both screened-in and open porches to the rear of a ranch home in Hilton, New York.
Created a large new family room, converting an existing living room, and adding both screened-in and open porches to the rear of a ranch home in Hilton, New York This porch/deck provides a 12’ x 16’ outside sitting area, and a 12’ x 14’ screened-in area for those days when the sun and bugs are too pesky!
This 20’ x 26’ family room has a set of doors leading out to the combination covered/open porch. This 20’ x 26’ family room has a set of doors leading out to the combination covered/open porch. Other features include a modified cathedral ceiling, a heat-circulating gas fireplace, and custom wood cabinets for storage built to the customer’s specification. The Shaker style of the cabinets is echoed in the custom mantel surrounding the fireplace.

The existing living room was transformed into a sewing room with custom cabinets built to the owner’s specification. The pass-through to the family room includes two sliding pocket doors to provide privacy on both sides.
